Sam Luthiya

Sam Luthiya (he/they) is a Sindhi, queer and non-binary writer, editor, and reader based in Bangalore, India. He possesss a strong interest in emotionally driven, introspective writing that explores identity, vulnerability, and human complexity. They have served as an editor and slush reader at various literary magazines and organisations including The Young Writer’s Initiative, The Farside Review, Dear Asian Youth, Dalika Literary, TrueBlue Literary, Pencilhouse and more.

Sam's work has been published in The Bombay Literary Magazine, Thread Literary Magazine, The Outland Magazine, Perfume Pages, The Sour Collective, Basilinda Journal and Sangamithra (GoodAsYou). Beyond the literary sphere, they work at global media company and manage a small business where they sell customised jewellery. When the weight of the world presses against him, Sam immerses himself in knitting, doodling, cooking, and seeks leisurely walks through the many parks of Bangalore.
