Laura Tate

Laura is a retired elementary school teacher and grandmother who lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Her poetry has appeared in Thimble, One Art Poetry, Sky Island Journal, Anti-Heroin Chic, Halfway Down the Stairs, among others. She was a recent participant in Fahmidan's Inaugural Mentorship Program for older writers, and is slowly working on a first chapbook.
