Catherine Garner

Catherine Garner (she/her) is an emerging queer writer with a BA in English Writing and Communication Studies from Kean University. Though she’s a native Jersey girl, she loves to explore new places and capture the charm of every place she visits. She is currently based in Austria and preparing to begin a master's program in English Studies this fall. Drawn to multi-modal, experimental poetry, she’s currently developing her first poetry collection, which explores her “unconventional” college experience in “unconventional” formats, such as postcards, GPS directions, and more. Her poems have appeared in The Aerial Perspective, and she won the Kean University Poetry Prize in 2024.
