Claire Guo is a writer based in San Jose, California. Her work has been recognized by the Adroit Prizes in Prose and the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and is published or forthcoming in The New York Times, Trampset Magazine, Typishly, The National Poetry Quarterly, Eunoia Review, the Bluefire Magazine, and the Alcott Youth Magazine. She believes all words are meant to take on their own meanings and spiral out of the control of their creators. Outside of writing, you can find her playing tennis, crocheting or collecting fountain pens.
