Amy Lemuz-Gurra
Reader
Having grown up in a Spanish-speaking household, Amy Lemuz-Guerra credits her English fluency to reading the Junie B. Jones series on the school bus. Today she reads translated and academic books in the car while her parents drive through rural Missouri to buy eggs and milk from the Amish whenever she visits. She graduated with honors from Williams College, earning a bachelor's degree in comparative literature, and has held internships at Dzanc Books and The Artist Book Foundation. She also researched sources for the exhibition catalog Après la fin: Cartes pour un autre avenir at the Centre Pompidou-Metz. A recent graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course, Amy looks forward to building a career in publishing.
